Analyzed data from participant surveys to inform design and infographic elements for department presentation to the executive team. Created visual theme based on brand guidelines.


Redesigned dense policy document for accessibility

In 2023 I applied my publishing production expertise to apply accessibility guidelines to update, streamline, and improve a 270-page Summary Plan Description document for Duke University’s HR department. This included a style guide and design editing instructions for Word. This document is periodically updated but my original base design is still in use.

Boosted sales via email campaigns for an online store

TheAromi.com wished to gain attention from their subscriber base ahead of the final quarter of 2022. They requested my help to grow the subscriber list with adapted and original campaign content to see how each might affect sales. I began with graphics and messaging to announce sales and share scent ingredient stories.

This relationship grew into segmenting a group of the most active subscribers and delivering specialized content to that group, editing drip campaigns, and A/B testing newsletter pop-up windows to entice new subscribers. Built brand awareness to grow a niche industry in North Carolina

The client wished to build and improve upon their outreach and promotion for the organization’s annual conference. I began by contributing with graphic design, email formatting, editing and posting videos to the YouTube channel, and advising the CEO on strategies to increase conference participation and brand awareness.

In December 2022–January 2023 I oversaw a website platform migration to streamline the organization’s information and improve the user experience. I have built pages to promote the conference in 2023 and 2024.
