Antiracism history

I wrote, illustrated and self-published a zine that profiles the lives of Sarah and Angelina Grimké. The sisters were born in the early 1800s, rejected slavery, and left their wealthy family’s South Carolina plantation to become Quakers and abolitionists.

This outspoken duo publicly discussed and published ideals that were ahead of their time. As a white person, I found their story inspirational and hope it will help others who are working for racial equity and justice. The Nancydraws Shop on Etsy.com, January 2023.
